New data is out today that evidences physical activity’s capacity to influence wellness – activity-focused intervention WORKS to help kids realize improved health markers.
You are right, nothing new about that. But what IS new is the back story. The kids in the study who sustained activity after the intervention was over were those who had developed a comparatively larger repertoire of activity competency than the others had.
Meaning, the kids who developed deeper ‘iron footprints’ were those that continued to be active.
The take away – any and all engagement with kids can make a difference in their wellbeing. Nothing is insignificant – all is significant!
